If you have been struggling with getting a new checking account, you might want to consider getting a new account with a bank that either does not use chexsystems or one that offers second chance checking accounts. Either way is a good way to get a new checking account. With a regular chexsystems checking account, the bank will run a background check on you to see your chexsystems record. If your record looks bad, then you are going to have a bad time getting a new bank account. To get a free chexsystems report so you can see what is on it, you can get a free one by going to the company’s website here. You have the right to get a free report each year, and if you are on the chexsystems list, you should definitely see what the report says about you. Chexsystems does not only affect checking accounts. It also affects opening a savings account. Some banks that do a chexsystems check might just allow you to open a savings account since you cannot do too much with a savings.

Non ChexSystems Banks can offer you a checking account, so that is a great place to start your search if you are still unaware were to get a new bank account.

Being on Chex Systems sucks. If you are reading this, then you probably know first hand how much chexsystems can affect you. There are a handful of banks that do not use Chexsystems, and one of those banks has been said to be Union Bank of California. There are a lot of people who are saying that they check your credit score, and not the chexsystems list. So if you have fair credit, but your name is on chexsystems, then you should start checking that bank out. Also, Credit Unions are not only good banks to bank with, but a lot of people also say that there is less chance of the Credit Unions using Chex Systems. For the most part, if you are on chexsystems and the bank checks it, you are denied. There is literally a slim to none chance of you getting an account with a new bank while your name is on chexsystems. I was on the chexsystems list, and I went to open a new account at a different bank with $2,500 and I was still denied a new account.

Non sufficient funds fees are something you hate to see when you are checking your bank accounts. A lot of times they come out of no where, and you are wondering how it happened. For some cases, NSF fees stack so high that some people cannot pay for them. Because some of the banks do not like to negotiate and cancel their insane fees, some people end up getting their bank account cancelled on them. When that happens, they have their name put on chexsystems. This is a list that no one wants to be on. This is because people who are on this list will not be able to open a new checking account at another bank that checks this list. If you want a chance at opening a new account, you need to find a bank account without chexsystems. That is going to be one of the very few options for you to take. This chexsystems list is managed by the big banks who submit information about their customers who are getting their account in the negative and cannot pay the fees back. It is unfortunate because these fees can add up extremely fast. For each charge that happens to your account when the balance is below 0 dollars, you get charged a NSF fee. Some banks charge $31 or more for these fees. If you forget about a check you wrote to someone who has not cashed it for over 2 weeks, it is easy to get these fees. All you have to do is 4 different charges, say buy a coffee at star bucks with your debit card, and go around town and make a few other small price charges, and you can find your bank account with over $100 is fees that you owe the bank. Banks use fees like this to make most of their profit. It should be a practice that should be illegal. When you open a savings account or checking account, banks are borrowing your money. They should not be the ones trying to take money from you with insane fees. So after all these fees stack up and you cannot pay them back, you are going to need to get a bank account without chexsystems or find a second chance checking account. Both ways are a good way to get a new checking account. The non chexsystems banks do not check the list, so therefore they will not see your name on that bad list. You will be able to get a full privileged checking account if you sign up for one. Compared to some of the second chance checking accounts you can get, a bank account without chexsystems will not have any restrictions.

Most likely, you lost your bank account due to some problem. You are trying to get a checking or bank account, and you are being rejected. If this is the case, you need to get a bank account without chexsystems. Chexsystems will be the big factor when you are trying to get a checking account. Chexsystems is a list that the large banks use to monitor information from customers. Your name is put on this list because you had some financial trouble, most likely running your account into the negative. When you cannot pay the banks back, or they suspect something fishy about your account, they will put you on this list. Although over 80% of all banks use chexsystems, you can still get a bank account without chexsystems. There are a number of financial institutions that will be able to give you a new checking account without chexsystems. It might take you a day or less depending how you try to find a new bank. The only way you can get a new checking account is to either find a bank that does not use chexsystems, or to find a bank that has second chance checking. These are your only two options to get a new bank account. Technically, there is a third option, but you probably do not want to go that route. The third option is to wait the 5 year term that your name will be on the list for. After 5 years, they will remove your name from chexsystems, but you probably do not want to wait that long to get a checking account. The best way to find a bank that does not use chexsystems, you can start your search online. You can either find a bank that will offer you second chance checking, or you can find one that does not use chexsystems. When you get your new bank account, make sure that you monitor it very carefully. You do not want to make anymore mistakes with your new checking account. You want to make sure that you manage it well so you gain the trust with your new bank. This will not also get you on the good side, but it will get you into the habit of good money management. If you like to use checks, make sure you keep a ledger or book of all your checks that you write. Some people or companies do not cash checks for weeks, and sometimes it can be easy to forget and spend more money that you thought you had in your account. The best way to get your new checking account is to start a bank account without chexsystems.
